    Is there a way to add a graphic WITHIN a text story (in the new Articles panel) or do I still need to use anchored objects for that? So far it seems like the articles panel is great if you have a bunch of objects and unthreaded text frames on a page and want to set the order for export. I have long documents with one story threaded over many pages. Usually (in our print workflow) photos/illustrations are just placed on a page with text wrap settings, etc. So, to set the placement of those images in epub export, am I still looking at anchoring them or using xml?

    Yep. The articles panel works with objects-as-a-whole, so a long story with “embedded” illustrations requres that you anchor the objects in the right places. The good news is it's mind-bogglingly easy with the new drag and drop anchoring function.
