Data Merge and Interactive Forms

      Hi,

      I have over 400 clients that receive 8-12 page documents that when merged, have the name of their company and a responsible person's name inserted from a text file. All the documents are data merged into a PDF. The documents have forms included in them. Is there any way to make the forms interactive without doing it one by one in Acrobat?

      Whew… no, not really. Not via InDesign. If the form elements are pretty much the same across, however, you might:

      1. export a non-interactive pdf

      2. add the forms in one place

      3. use duplicate form fields to repeat them on the pages you want quickly

      4. then split the pdf into separate pieces (see comment section of this article: https://creativepro.com/spl…..files.php)
