trying to turn Facing Pages On or Off crashes InDesign

      already tried quit and relaunching, restarting the computer, rebuilding preferences (command alt shift ctrl)… next attempt will be reinstalling, but do I really have to? has anyone got a problem like this and solved it? thanks everyone

      Sounds like a corrupt document.

      Try exporting the file to IDML (File>Export and choose Indesign Mark Up language)

      Open the IDML file in INDesign and try it again.

      Are you on Mac or Windows? Which version of the OS? Which version of InDesign? Is this with new (blank) documents and with existing ones, or …?
