      Hello everyone,
I'm working in a transcription unit in an insitute for visually impaired children in Luxemburg and I, and my transcription unit, have opted for Indesign instead of MS Word for our transcriptions of schoolbooks and other textbooks.
The problem is that a larger fontsize, up to 28pt, necessarily occupies more space on paper. It's easy to simply increase the fontsize !
But students and pupils need to know the page numbers of the “sourcebook” called “bookpage” vs. “enlarged page” which is the page number of the enlarged document.
So far until nowadays, we've created in MS Word, one section per book page and it was Word which numbered the pages within a section, e.g. page 36-1, 36-2, 36-3 if the page 36 of the book took 3 pages in the enlarged version.
This took a lot of time, essentially for large books.
I want find an easy way to enlarge documents with Indesign. And when I have a manual solution, I'll try to automate a little bit with scrips.

Currently, the source texts (.txt or .rtf) are in the following form
      xxxxx (= text)
      xxxxx
      xxxxx
      xxxxx
125 (= book page number, alone in the line)
      page break
      xxxxx
      xxxxx
      xxxxx
      xxxxx
      126
      page break

Once enlarged, the sourcepage 125 will take e.g. 2 pages and page 126, 3 pages . The goal is to find the easyest way to acomplish this task best would be that the numbers become real Indesign page numbers to be able to add some other texts in respect of the booknumbering.
      XXXX
      XXXX
      XXXX
125-1 (= enlaged document page number)
      page break
      XXXX
      XXXX
      XXXX
      125-2
      page break
      XXXX
      XXXX
      XXXX
      126-1
      page break
      XXXX
      XXXX
      XXXX
      126-2
      page break
      XXXX
      XXXX
      XXXX
      126-3
      page break

The solution I found is to include the book pagenumbers in the source document (alone in a line).
After that, I import the text or rtf file with autofill option (to automatically create the pages I need)
Then, I set all my text to “body” paragraph style. When I increase the fontsize of body, often, I need to create new links between the textframes an also add new pages.
After that, I insert a pagebreak after each bookpage.
Then, I created a document where at every new booknumber, I've created a new section with the sectionmarker set to the bookpage. Then I added a separation dash, then I put the current pagenumber behind e.g. If the bookpage is 125, the sectionmarker will be 125, and I start page numbering at 1. So, each new page within the section 125 will take automatically the right pagenumber.
My document pages looks like 125-1, 125-2, …125-x.
      Problem,
      1. I'm using facing pages and often, when page number is 1, ID puts it on the right side, so I have to insert a blank left page to complete the backside of the right one.
      2. When I increase the fontsize, all the work have do be redone.
If anyone of you (ID gurus) can help me to find out a solution for this problem, I would be very grateful as well as all members of my transcription service and visually impaired students also.

Thanks in advance for your help
