      Hi.

I'm working on an interactive document in IDCS4 by converting an ID document to a SWF. The problem I'm having is that it appears that not more than two buttons work in a converted document.

Here's what I'm creating – a sales brochure with an “Enquire Now” link at the bottom which when hovered over, turns from grey to red. When clicked, it open up one's email client so the customer can email the enquiry.

Unfortunately, when converted from the ID document to the SWF, only two of the buttons actually work.

Am I doing something wrong? I'm duplicating the button as of course they are all the same. I have tried creating fresh buttons each time, but still have the problem of only two working in the SWF.

      Cheers.

      Which buttons don't work?

If one is a mailto link, make sure you are using the most recent version (6.04 or 6.05). I know an earlier version had troubles with mailto links working in SWF files.

Hi – sorry I didn't reply sooner. The problem I had was to do with transparencies I think, i.e. if something overlapped a button then that button wouldn't work.

I do have another issue though – the quality of the buttons when exported to swf are poor. With text that is converted to buttons I tried chaning the text options when exporting to swf, but they (as with images) are of a poorer quality.

      Am I missing somthing?

      Cheers.
