XChange International Announce Release of Substation for InDesign CS & CS2 and QuarkXPress 6.x
XChange International, the source for extended technology worldwide, are pleased to announce the release of the new SubStation plug-in for Adobe® InDesign® CS/CS2 and XTensions for QuarkXPress 6.x. Substation is a universal text importer for ASCII text. With its built-in “Search and Replace” functionality, users can convert any type of text string or tag any way they like, thus providing their page layout program with any relevant tag notation required for interpretation. Sets of Substation “Search and Replace” commands can be saved as preferences for further use and can also be applied to text already in the document.
Features include:
- Import ASCII text
- Use of wildcards
- Define “Search & Replace” options, e.g. ignoring case sensitivity
- Store sets of “Search & Replace” commands for reuse
- Import text directly into prepared tables
- Assign text box attributes such as size adaptation to text quantity
- Apply either ASCII or tag filters
