Pasting Gradients from Illustrator

      When pasting a gradient from Illustrator into InDesign the gradient is not loaded into my swatches panel, in fact it is unusable. Can you help me with this?

      Make sure Illustrator is in CMYK mode (not RGB mode) before copying the swatches.

      THANK YOU Anne! It worked just fine. I just want to take this moment to Thank the entire team at InDesign Secrets for such a fine job of keeping us all informed about InDesign. You have saved the day so many times with your tutorials and insight to what makes InDesign work so well. I come from a time when there was miles of pmt material and wax guns, and a great big paste board for doing layout.
