      Hi,

I am back with a great question in my mind. We have a javascript (jsxbin) which ensure that a spell check is run before closing a file (file attached for your reference). It run perfectly in InDesign CS4. The script was created by a programmer in our office and he has now moved to somewhere else.

As now we are moving to higher versions, we need a script which can be edited to work on any versions of InDesign.

I searched the web but didn’t found anything related to this, except a web page (url given below), which unfortunately, didn’t worked on my machine.
      https://35.adobe-scripting-indesign.overzone.net/execute-spell-checking-before-close-document-using-javascript-t2703.html

Could someone please help me in this regard or suggest something better.

It could be anything – Script, plugin, add-on etc.

      Thanks in advance,

      Masood

      Hi Masood,

What’s the goal of the script? To ensure that the document is spell checked before it’s closed?

You might want to try our product MindSpell Pro. It’s preflighting rules will ensure your document’s spelling results stay up to date. It should eliminate the need to ever use the Check Spelling… dialog in InDesign. MindSpell is scriptable as well, a sample script is available to spell check each word in your document.

      Or at Adobe Add-ons: https://bit.ly/1lSmvCE
