Ok, I admit … sometimes I use TrueType fonts. From time to time, I’ll see a font that’s perfect for a certain assignment, but it’s true type. Just create outlines, right? But for one project, this innocent little true type font is used as a Drop Cap throughout the book. Just when you mistakenly think the assignment is a wrap, I realize I have to go back and create an outline for each dropcap — thankfully, not too, many.

If there a method of changing a font into an outline, similar to the find/replace method? “Change All” for creating outlines would be a tremendous help.

I’m not sure why you want to convert these to outlines.
There isn’t anything wrong with using TrueType fonts… at least not usually. Test: if you can export the document as a PDF and it looks right in Acrobat (it almost always does), then I’d say it’s safe to use and print.

But no, there’s no way to use find/change to find & convert to outlines.

About “no, there’s no way to use find/change to find & convert to outlines.”!

David, by Script of course like here (in a little more sophisticated way):

      (^/) The Jedi

[It’s just a personal comment without ulterior motive (not sure about the right translation! =D ), like when you say: “Today, the weather is sunny in town! …”]

Yes, I should always put an * next to comment like that, and then say:
*Everything is possible with a script!
      LOL.
