Dell may have performed an update without my knowing it. This is why I never (sort of) update my system. This system may update, but the little connectors that make the software work with the system don’t necessarily update.

I tried holding down on ctrl shift and alt and clicked InDesign … same results.

When I follow the path on the page you linked to:
Windows Vista or Windows 7:
C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\versionanguage\ InDesign Defaults

… I get stopped dead in my tracks. There is no “language” folder. Could this be the issue?
