Adobe LeanPrint Offers to Reduce Your Print Costs
Do you suffer from print guilt? You know, that feeling that you really shouldn’t waste resources like paper and ink or toner, but you still feel compelled to make hard copies of certain work or information. Or did you ever feel like certain applications are optimized to waste as much paper and toner as possible, printing redundant headers and footers on each page? Earlier this week, I posted information about a Mac OS utility for reducing print waste. Now Windows users have a potential solution as well. It comes from Adobe and it’s called LeanPrint. You can use Adobe LeanPrint with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat, and browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.

Adobe LeanPrint comes in three editions, Individual, Small Business, and Enterprise. The Individual Edition is a desktop-based printing solution that works with all printers. It allows users to track savings using a personal dashboard. The Individual edition costs $20 and you can also try it for free. The Small Business and Enterprise editions allow companies to achieve large scale savings in print costs, which they can track via a cloud-based dashboard.
