Possibly a stupid question, but I want to check the value for money of paying a regular subscription over outright owning an older package of Creative Suite.
Is it that much better with CC than CS. Thanks, thinking of making the leap, but don’t want to spend the money if I can avoid it at the moment.

It’s GOLD, are you kiddin’? Well, I guess it depends on what you are doing with it all. Are you currently a designer or work in any capacity on a professional level? Do you create items and get paid to do so – ie. brochures, catalogs, logos, social media graphics, book covers, illustrations, posters, web sites/graphics, etc.? Or are you simply using the programs for entertainment purposes? With your subscription, you are afforded the wealth of any program you want to learn and further your marketing tool box so to speak. If a designer, you need to market your importance and what you have to bring to the table above and beyond those standing next to you. Learning something new each and everyday from one of these programs is the ticket. In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, just a one day course will get you up to speed with Dimension, not much to learn Animate, After Effects is daunting, but there if you so desire. And much more! Adobe Stock. Typekit – no wwaaay!!!! Insane the quality and quantity of fonts at your disposal. For me, a little over $50 a month is GOLD. Has changed my life man. You get out of anything whatever you put into it though. But with the features and capabilities found in the never versions of CC, it’s a no-brainer. Perhaps no more Starbucks can conjure up $50 a month. Or perhaps take on a few additional projects and back that $600 into an account and you have your subscription taken care of for the year. Boom. Advice so solid even a therapist cannot touch that right there :-) Best of luck.
