Yup – I like the fact that Word.docx is a zip file…
I can unzip the word file to give me all the graphics where I can run a Photoshop action

However… can you (or anybody) think of a way of adjusting the frames for the graphics to fit the re-imported TIFF or JPG once they’re re-linked?

That way I’d have a head start with the layout adjustment (currently graphic frames are being overlaid or extending beyond page edges)

i.e. some kind of Graphic Style on import/link of the Word doc?
