Reply To: Page numbers and table of contents not working

From the Book panel menu (upper right corner), choose Book Page Numbering Options and make sure that “Continue from previous document” is selected and the box next to Automatically Update Page & Section Numbers is checked. Next, from the Book panel menu again, choose Update Numbering > Update All Numbers. If the page numbers do not update after going through those steps, you may need to open Document Numbering Options for each file (you can do so by double-clicking on the page range next to each document in the Book panel) and make sure that Automatic Page Numbering is selected.
