WoodWing Webinars Focus on Publishing Products & Strategies

WoodWing Software, a leading developer of cross-media content publishing solutions for newspapers, magazines, books and for corporate publishers, is launching a series of free live webinars. The online seminars aim to provide an efficient and interactive way to learn about the company’s products and strategies.
The new offer is intended for existing WoodWing customers looking to discover new features and abilities, as well as publishers, creative professionals and IT managers interested in learning more about WoodWing’s products and strategies.
Each webinar will be held live three times to cover the various time zones around the world. The content is identical in all three sessions. The webinars will be held in English. At the end of each session, there will be time for questions and answers.
First three WoodWing Webinars will cover Layout Efficiency, Social Media and Web-to-Print
The series will begin with a seminar about WoodWing’s award-winning plug-in Smart Styles CS4 for Adobe InDesign. Smart Styles offers powerful automatic formatting features, which makes complex formatting easy and helps to reduce repetitive tasks. This webinar will be held on August 27 for Europe and the US and August 28 for Asia-Pacific. The attendees will learn how to create a Smart Styles Library, add various types of objects (including formatted text, graphics frames and tables), and how to selectively apply those settings to future projects.
The second seminar, entitled “Enter the Social Media Scene with WoodWing Enterprise,” will be held on September 10 and 11. Attendees will discover that publishing to social media platforms like Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and Twitter is as easy as pressing a button for users of WoodWing solutions. The attendees will learn how to preview, publish and unpublish content using WoodWing’s Content Management Application Content Station, a component of the Enterprise Content Publishing Platform from WoodWing. The webinar will also explain how easy it is to integrate social media services into Enterprise via server plug-ins.
At the end of September, the series will continue with a webinar about Brand Station, the new enterprise web-to-print solution by WoodWing. Attendees will learn how to create InDesign templates that can be customized via a Web browser by non-experienced users, how to offer alternate images for use in a template, and how to implement an approval-based workflow.
