Oh jeez I blame the early morning start! That’s is an instant problem…
I’ve got another idea. But my Indesign won’t open after I updated. So I’ll be back.

Eugene TysonMemberI also think your printer is being overly cautious. Fonts should be embeded in the Illustrator file.
Save as an .ai file with a pdf compatible. And place that in InDesign.
There should not be any issues with the font – unless the font does not allow embedding, in which case it is probably against the EULA to outline too.
Eugene TysonMemberIt’s best not to use any tricks – as pointed out to me before from Dov Isaacs!
When you make a PDF for production, use the preflight tools in acrobat to outline text
Eugene TysonMemberYou sure can
On the master page – thread two text frames – one on the left master page, and one on the right master page.
On the left page. Type>Insert Special Character>Markers>Current Page Numer
insert a page break to bring you to the frame on the right.
Type> Insert Special Characters>Marker>Previous Page Number
Here’s a file to get you started

Eugene TysonMemberI always create the cover on a Master Spread.
Then apply the front cover to first page, and back cover to the last page.
Eugene TysonMemberNot really sure what you mean
Eugene TysonMemberSet the person or the product to have it’s appearance set to Knockout.
Window>Appearance
Select the image, and ensure that Overprint is not selected.
Your printers should be doing whatever they can to help you resolve this!
Eugene TysonMemberI’ve been wanting this since about 2010. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/619776

Script available here

Eugene TysonMemberConversely there’s no need for GREP…
Was on tablet device and hard enough to type grep at the computer never mind on touch screen ?
Eugene TysonMemberSelect the list of people then choose Convert To Table. Instead of a Tab use a Space. Just type it in there.
Might need to merge some cells where it’s Paddy Mc Nair etc.
Once done swap you’re right column with the left with a drag and drop.
Convert table to text
Run sort paragraph
And reverse theprocess.
Sounds long but it is quite quick.
