Bob Dylan’s Hand Lettering Experience
We all spend many hours in front of our various screens, wrestling inspiration from the pixels in front of us. But sometimes you just have to unplug and step away from the digital realm to create something truly fresh. That’s what designer Leandro Senna did when he set out to create a hand lettering project based on Bob Dylan’s iconic prototype music video for the song “Subterranean Homesick Blues.”
Leandro ended up creating 66 hand lettered cards in all, to represent all the lyrics in the song.
Check out the video below for the full effect, and also visit leandrosenna.com where you can view each card, and read more about the project.
I am sure they have used letterpress printing because such perfection and cleanliness can be achieved only through letterpress machine only.
