Registration For Print Buyers Conference Now Open

Print Buyers International, LLC, today announced that registration is now open for their 3rd Annual Print Buyers Conference in Boston (September 11th – 12th at The Sheraton Boston Hotel). Several new options are being introduced for this year’s registrants to enhance their conference experience and make it more convenient to attend. On Wednesday, September 10th, the event kicks off with a full day of Print Buyer Boot Camp.
Boston Bound
For the first time, the print buyers conference produced by Boston Print Buyers, a Division of Print Buyers International (PBI), will be held in downtown Boston at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Located in the heart of the city’s Back Bay district, the venue is convenient for everyone. It’s accessible by Boston’s subway system (the “T) and is less than 20 minutes by cab from Boston’s Logan International Airport. Parking is also available.
Flexible Ticketing Suits Every Schedule
For individuals whose schedules don’t allow them to be away for three full days, they have more options this year than ever before. Conference tickets are available for one day, two days, or all three days. Tickets are also available for the exhibit hall only.
“We structured the conference program with extra special care this year,” said PBI founder Margie Dana. “In case some people can only attend for one day. There is great educational and networking value on each of the three days, with broad topic coverage spread out evenly. Naturally, we hope that everyone can be with us for the whole event, but if they can’t, we want them to know that in one day they’ll get a ton of professional development plus networking.”
New Learning Tracks Guide Registrants
The event kicks off with a full day of Print Buyer Boot Camp! on Wednesday, September 10th. This program is perfect for those new to print buying or print selling, as well as those who need a refresher course on printing basics. It’s a perfect segue for the two-day Conference.
Thursday and Friday begin with keynote breakfasts. Following that, attendees have a wealth of educational sessions to choose from – 22 in all – covering such hot topics as “Ready, Set, Go Green,” “It’s 2018 — Did Print Survive?” “Anatomy of a Cross-Media Campaign,” and “19 Surefire Ways to Cut Your Paper Costs.”
Registrants will pre-select one session from four that run concurrently in a particular time slot. Four Learning Tracks were created to help with this selection. ADV (Advanced) sessions are for those who have greater experience in print buying. ALL sessions are appropriate for everyone. P&P sessions are either Panels or center on Paper issues. And BIG sessions stand for Big Picture – because today, print buyers know that communications involve more than ink-on-paper.
New Roundtable Discussions Offer Peer-to-Peer Learning
Roundtable Discussions will take place on Thursday and on Friday when no other sessions are scheduled. Topics include Career Growth for the Print Buyer, Buying Overseas, Going Green, How to Cut Costs with Your Printing, Dealing with/Doing an RFP, What’s Happening in the Paper Industry, and many, many more. Facilitators (both buyers and exhibitor representatives) will lead each discussion at small tables set up in a ballroom across from the Exhibit Hall.
Registration Now Open
Attendees can register online now at www.printbuyersconference.com. Early Bird rates apply until August 1st. A full three-day pass costs just $773 (only $623 for members of Boston Print Buyers). An individual pass for Print Buyer Boot Camp costs $249 ($149 for BPB members). You can register for either Thursday or Friday for $399 ($349 for BPB members). Exhibit Hall passes cost $25 ($50 if purchased on site). This year, due to the larger venue, the exhibit hall has expanded to accommodate over 50 booths plus a handful of tabletops in the foyer.
Group discounts are available for four or more registrants from the same organization. Contact Barbara Graham (978-490-0100) for all registration details and/or to register over the phone.
