PROOF-it-ONLINE Launches inMotion, Approval Management Collaboration Software for Rich, Interactive Media

PROOF-it-ONLINE (www.proofitonline.com ), provider of web-based approval management solutions to creative services companies, today announced the availability of inMotion Now (www.inMotionNow.com ), a new approval management and collaboration solution for rich, interactive content. inMotion is the industry’s first technology to offer an effective way to collaborate, review, approve and manage interactive content, including video, Flash, animation, and web design, as well as documents, graphics and print. While traditional means of content review are outdated, time-consuming and prone to miscommunication, inMotion leverages Web technology to accelerate project cycles, improve communications and bring control to the review and approval process.
A leading global advertising agency and top media entertainment company currently using inMotion in separate national pilots, expect that automating the time-consuming, non revenue generating activities of getting approvals on assets, copy, music, voice, images, and drafts – while still maintaining face-to-face client contact when needed – can translate to savings of more than 10 percent per project. These companies, as well as others using inMotion in Beta and Pilot tests, estimate cost savings of thousands of dollars over the course of their projects.
Rob Munz, president and founder of PROOF-it-ONLINE, states, “The industry benefits immensely from an easy way to manage and capture reviews and approvals throughout various stages of a project’s cycle. It’s a big challenge; before inMotion, there was really no efficient way of getting this done, especially when creating content that involves the elements of motion. Our technology addresses these challenges with an intuitive tool that helps content creators and their reviewers more effectively communicate and manage the review and approval process.”
inMotion – developed in partnership with SharpStyle Inc., provider of rich Internet applications and developer tools – is a two-sided application that features one side for creative professionals and their teams (the Admin Workspace), and another side for their reviewers (the Reviewer Interface).
Munz added, “The two sides work together to create a powerful review and approval workflow solution. But what makes inMotion truly unique is the Admin Workspace for creative professionals. It delivers the much needed control over project approval workflow, replacing paper tracking and excel spreadsheets.” As a central hub that includes at-a-glance status updates, the ability to set-up advanced reviewer routing, time and date stamp capture on all activity, and administrative reports, inMotion’s Admin Workspace allows creative professionals to easily manage and track all project and approval activity.
The Reviewer Interface, which features a playback and runtime environment with advanced online markup tools and collaboration, allows for effective and accurate content reviews and approval or opinion capture. Reviewers can easily comment on and markup full motion content such as video and animation as well as non-motion graphics and print projects.
How inMotion works:
* Creative professionals post content to a secure Workspace;
Reviewers are automatically notified to review the project online where they can exchange comments and edits and then submit their rating and approval status;
* inMotion alerts the creative professional that an approval has been received, aggregates all reviews into a single capture, records all changes, adds a time and date stamp to all activity, and updates the approval status for real-time progress reports.
Available now, the new Web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution will join the company’s print proofing and approval management offerings that have been serving the creative services industry since 2000. For more information, or a product demo, visit www.inMotionNow.com.
