New Preflight Tools for Adobe InDesign

Zevrix Solutions has released the Pro and Studio versions of InPreflight, its quality control, packaging automation and preflight reporting solution for Adobe InDesign.
InPreflight provides a robust, fast, reliable and user-friendly preflight solution for service providers, printers, ad agencies, designers and publishing houses. InPreflight quickly gathers extensive information about document fonts, colors and links and lets users instantly locate potential problems according to preflight presets. It also checks for hidden attributes not reported by InDesign, such as EPS compression and embedded fonts in EPS files. The program saves hours of checking InDesign documents manually and dealing with consequences of costly mistakes. InPreflight is, on average, 2-10 times faster than FlightCheck.
InPreflight is also a powerful packaging automation solution which allows users to preflight and package multiple documents. Among other abilities, it can collect all files into one folder, eliminating the need to collect the same links multiple times for each design. The savings can result in gigabytes of space and hours of production time. In addition, InPreflight lets users print graphic preflight reports and save them as fully searchable interactive PDF files, providing an easy way to analyze, archive and send reports to service providers.
The new InPreflight Studio is a low cost version which targets artists and designers who don’t require the advanced packaging capabilities. It provides the same powerful preflight and reporting solutions as the Pro version. InPreflight Pro is identical to the current version of InPreflight which includes automated packaging of multiple documents and other advanced options.
Pricing and Availability: InPreflight Pro/Studio can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions web site for US$139.95/99.95 respectively, as well as from authorized resellers. Demo is also available for download. Upgrade to InPreflight Pro is free for licensed users of version 2.2 and up, and US$40 for the users of earlier versions.
InPreflight is available for Mac OS X Tiger/Leopard, a Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign CS-CS4.
