Lynda.com Releases Illustrator CS2 Creative Techniques

lynda.com, the company specializing in self-paced career and computer training in digital media and design, today introduced Illustrator CS2 Creative Techniques. This training course is comprised of QuickTime video tutorials, which are available online and on CD.
In Illustrator CS2 Creative Techniques, instructor and graphic designer Ted LoCascio shares his tricks and techniques for creating imaginative and inventive effects and projects. Ted walks viewers through the steps of creating special effects on text, adding depth and texture to illustrations, and creating buttons and professional bar charts. This training title also reveals strategies for mastering challenging projects, such as drawing clear items (water droplets and glass), 3D objects, smoke, chrome, and reflections.
“The majority of Illustrator training shows how to use the program feature by feature, but it’s hard to know how to put all the steps together to create a real project. This training title shows actual workflow for real-world projects, and helps build skills for those looking to use Illustrator professionally,” said Lynda Weinman, CEO of lynda.com
Anyone with an Internet connection can access Illustrator CS2 Creative Techniques by subscribing to lynda.com’s Online Training Libraryâ„¢. A separate CD version of Illustrator CS2 Creative Techniques is scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
Subscriptions to the lynda.com Online Training Library start at $25 a month, and provide access to more than 14,000 movie tutorials covering a wide range of technology career tools, software, and techniques. Subscribers can access any of the computer-based training titles at their convenience. Multi-user subscriptions are also available for companies and institutions seeking to provide education and training to groups.
