ColorBurst Releases ICC Profiler Based on Monaco/X-Rite Technology in New RIP Versions

ColorBurst announced today that version 4.1 (Mac) and 7.6 (Windows) of their award-winning software now includes version 2.0 of SpectralVision Pro. SpectralVision Pro includes a fully functional output profile creation software package engineered in cooperation with Monaco/X-Rite and includes such vital features as Total Ink Control, UCR/GCR control, Black Ink control, and full Bezier curve control over black generation.
“By including a fully functional ICC profile creation program with all retail versions of ColorBurst, for no additional cost, we are setting a new standard for what a RIP delivers out of the box,” said President and ColorBurst founder Larry Spevak. “Our customers will now be able to easily obtain an excellent level of color quality on any media. ”
In addition to creating ICC profiles SpectralVision Pro v2.0 will also provide the measurement for ColorBurst new Print Certification technology. In addition to verifying color accuracy SpectralVision Pro V2.0 will also print all data and a verification sticker to Dymo Label Writers. Only Version 4.1 on the Macintosh platform will include print certification. Release for Print Certification on Windows is set for the second quarter of 2006.
