Bring Your Halloween Costume Alive with Digital Dudz
Looking for a great creative Halloween costume idea that won’t break the bank? Digital Dudz might be just the thing. Digital Dudz are the creation of Mark Rober, an engineer who last year devised a clever (if expensive) Halloween costume that used two iPads to simulate a hole in the wearer’s body.
This year, Rober came up with an alternative that’s a lot cheaper than 2 iPads, and it offers a variety of ways to use your own creativity to come up with a costume that’s sure to turn heads and get laughs (or screams).
You start by downloading the free app from the App store or Google Play. It offers a number of Halloweenish animations, like creepy eyeballs that look around, beating hearts, and more. You then decorate a shirt to look like a nasty wound, or a scary face, (or buy a shirt designed to go with the animations from Digital Dudz), and duct tape your mobile device to the inside. Voila! It’s alive!
To really get a sense of what you can do with Digital Dudz, you really have to see them in action, so check out this video.
These are cool…sad I didn’t see them BEFORE Halloween!
Cool…wish I’d seen the BEFORE Halloween!
